I am Adrianna Zullich, a candidate in the at-large Board of Education race. I am the proud Mom of three current BPS students, and one graduate.

My daughter relies on a wheelchair, and I have had to navigate the complex special education system. This experience has propelled me to take on leadership roles to advocate for educational justice within the Buffalo Public Schools, such as parent advocate of the PTO at PS#99 Makowski and co-chair of BPS’ Special Education Parents Advisory Committee (SEPAC). Prior to this, I earned a JD at the UB School of Law, where I also served as co-director of the Human Rights Center.

I am committed to making a difference in Buffalo Public Schools. My priority is ensuring that all students have access to a quality, equitable education. I have witnessed firsthand inequality between buildings, and a disconnect between the central office and school buildings. I want to bring building relationships to the district. I will be part of ensuring students have the tools to succeed.

I will push for transparency in the special education department. This is close to my heart as a special ed Mom. And when we support students with extra needs, all students and teachers are supported. I will make sure students, families, teachers, and staff are supported and their voices are lifted.

My vision for BPS is that we dream bigger for student success and their bright futures.
